This CD helps aid as an educational tool to those involved in the meat industry to better understand the need for uniformity with beef, pork, lamb, and veal products. This Industrywide Cooperative Meat Identification Standards Committee (ICMISC) is a group of industry leaders, meat/animal scientists and other volunteers that periodically meet to review and update retail labeling practices.
